Most doors will come with a keyed lock as well as optional foot locks for added security. Aluminum is a exceptional conductor of heat, your aluminum door can be draining the heat from your home all day and night, creating drafts and an uncomfortable home. French doors tend to take up a lot of living space due to the inswing of the doors. Other important factors include the energy efficiency of the space, the look and style of the room, and the security of the area. You may even consider an entry door as well. Doors tend to run in standard size increments of 5’, 6’ and 8’ doors. We can also fabricate 3 panel doors in 9’ and 12’ sizes. 4 panel doors are standard in 12’ sizes. We can also custom make any size or style door your home may require. When you have access to several manufacturers you have the choice to pick the perfect design for your home.
There are some amazing products available right now. Many times we recommend sliding doors that look similar (or better) to french doors to improve the looks and beauty of the room, without intruding on the interior space.
